Did anyone else have an "Oh, S--t!" moment at the end of the episode when Tucker told Ed that "no ordinary alchemist" could refine the liquid into a true Philosopher's Stone and Ed responded, saying "I'm no ordinary alchemist"?
I just had this feeling of deja vu from Empire Strikes Back. "Ed, I am your father. Come with me and turn to the dark side!"

Sorry but I thought it was a pretty cleche line. So it didn't seem to strike me. I knew he was goin to say after the Dr. said "no ordinary Alchemist."

You'd think he'd learned that that attitude has gotten him into enough trouble, wouldn't you? But then he wouldn't be Ed, would he? We all know the road to heck can be paved with good intentions. Poor Ed. He's just so desperate to help Al...
Actually, I'm amazed he's even having a civil conversation with Tucker considering how devestated he was by what Tucker did, but I guess Al comes first with him, and he sees a slim chance here. And how about Al's team-up with Scar? Yikes!!!

Yeah, I knew Ed was going to say it before he said it, but I still felt stunned when he actually spoke. Part of me was hoping he wouldn't sink to that level.

Well, I see something big coming, that's for sure. I think they're leading up to us being slammed pretty hard when we find out what Ed isn't telling Al about what he did to save him.
From your hint, I'm guessing we're all going to have a pretty lively discussion in a few weeks...

Yeah, it's quite cool. At Kamikazecon he finally got to announce he was doing it, he said he'd really been wanting to get that out for a long time, he seemed quite excited.

Iwas hearing that at Kamikazecon, But because I didn't hear it from anyone from FUNi or any of the ADV or FUNi actors I didn't beleave it.
I did see Vic put Chris into a headlock.

his voice sounds terrible. nothing like what you would expect Greed to sound like. guess we'll have to see how they work with it in the later episodes.

He announced it at the voice actor round table, and then again at the FMA panel.
