Could somebody please recommend me older anime movies like ("They Were Eleven" and "A Wind Named Amnesia"). I really liked both of those movies but I didn't hear much about them until I've seen them. Could someone please give me for "under radar" anime recommendations?

Have you seen Green Legend Ran? It's from the early ninties but the production values would make you think it was more recent. It's a fairly interesting apocalyptoc fable.

I'll second Green Legend Ran. I would also recommend Crusher Joe. Both movie and OVAs are great, even if a bit dated. I don't think this title gets enough recognition.
