The series was scheduled for a 26 episode run, and I believe they're on episode 24 in Japan now, so I guess they'll stop in another month or so.

I know that it's going to be a while before Samurai Champloo comes out completely here, but I'm starting my collection now. It has some of my favourite voice actors (Steven J Blum as the womanizing Mugen!) in it and the story looks intriguing already. I guess I will have to put buying Gits:SAC on hold for a bit longer *sigh* Sad

A month? Try 2 weeks. Actually, since it's almost the weekend now, a bit more then 1.

I'm more excited about how Manglobe will follow up after samurai champloo is done. I doubt it would be any good without Shinichiro Watanabe leading the way, but with Samurai Champloo on thier resume, it will likely lead to better things.

On another note, you can get more champloo action from the manga (if it gets license). I believe by the second volume, it's different from the anime.
