I've noticed that the Rayearth 1 Boxed Set just went out of print. Darn, I procrastinated too long. I've searched the B&N website for used copies, amazon, even ebay and have found nothing very satisfactory. Does anyone know where I could possible get a copy of this box set?

I didn't know that. I wanted one! I thought TOKYOPOP still had them though...

Nope, I tried Tokyopop's online shop and they aren't selling any either. I suppose I could always collect the individual volumes, but nothing beats the appeal of a nice box set I can put on my "Completed Series" shelf right away. And there's that extra material...

They pulled it because they are reissuing them in the right-to-left format.
Be paitent. They will republish it soon.
(I'm hoping to get some copies myself eventually. )

The box sets were in right to left format. They were a special edition. I don't think they will be issuing them again.

Oh.
But... it's CLAMP! It's also the 15th anniversary period.
I didn't think Tokyopop would completely pull Magic Knight Rayearth manga boxsets during their 15th year celebration, and with their latest series still doing well.

Well the 2nd series has a box set, so who knows what they're thinking. If they're gonna someday pull that too, then I better go buy that, after all, it's not like it's extra to pay $30 for the three volumes, an extra thing, and the box.
