Sunday Silence, I'm sure I won't be the first to admit that Vic has an extremely large ego about him that is definitely fueled by his fans' love for him (heck, I even admire him to a certain extent). However, the dub for FMA definitely wouldn't be the same without him as Edward. Replacing any of the main cast now would be a mistake, and would turn more people away from watching the movie and OVAs instead of enticing them to watch them more.

It's more likely because they thought it reasonable to hire the same actor for a part that he's played in every other English version with what more than a few might consider success, but you probably already knew that.

I really can't believe that he's done anything to merit such casual venom.

I don't get the Vic hate, but then again I didn't watch this series dubbed.

I saw the 4 panel skits, and I thought they were pretty funny. I'm glad FUNi is going to be releasing them

Funimation also revealed that it has licensed four Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood OVAs that were originally released with the Japanese DVD and Blu-ray Disc volumes. Funimation also has licensed the "Fullmetal Four-Panel Comic Theater."

Well, the Vic hate doesn't come from his roles. He has a lot of hate on him because of things he's done and said at conventions and such. Like his pushing of his religious views and his hatred on yaoi (to the point now that he ultimately refuses to say the infamous mini-skirt line - not that I blame him, since you can look up the tons of videos on YouTube and watch him say it over and over again). As a voice actor, I think very few people will deny that he's not excellent at what he does, although quite a few of his roles sound the same.

I agree. Another good addition to the Funimation talent pool.

I'm impressed Mike McFarland got some L.A. voice artists involved. That's a nice surprise.

There's a name a dub hasn't seen in a while (besides some video games)

If he's doing anime again I guess he's working on multiple stuff to make it worthwhile (since anime dubs don't pay that great unless you get a lot of hours). Maybe he's also working on One Piece Season 4? (he previously voiced Pauly in Unlimited Adventure)

I am so excited to see this guy. I was a huge fan of TWBB and I like his work as Tygra in Thundercats. I hope to see more with him in it.

Yeah I'm quite enjoying his Tygra as well, I hope he'll get even more to do in the next set of episodes once they start airing again at the end of the month.

Awesome, can't wait to see these with the dub cast Smile

Nice to see some surprising yet familiar additions for some of the new roles.

It's about time that the OVAs got licensed and I have seen those animated short 4 panel skits which is the funniest I have ever seen and it's great to hear them get licensed as well.

One question is that will the OVAs and 4 panel skits bundle together as extras along with the movie? It better not be on a separate DVD like the Premium OVA Collection with the previous series because no way I will spend my hard earned money on content that is less than an hour long on DVD.

As for the cast, it's not surprising that the main actors are back to reprise their roles and its great to have more FMA with them again. Although, didn't I hear Caitlin Glass moved to Spain from one of the recent past commentaries? How did they manage to get her back for the movie?

Anyways, for those who have seen The Sacred Star of Milos, is it a good movie? Looking forward to the movie's release here in North America.

Unlike the Premium OVA Collection each of these Brotherhood OVAs is about 15 min each x 4 OVAs = 1 hour

each 4 panel short is about 2 minutes x 16 shorts = 32 min

Estimated total running time = little more than 1 hour 30 minutes

So it could be released separately from the movie and unlike the Premium OVA Collection is long enough to be worth the purchase.

People still asking this? Smile

I like Caitlin but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan or anything, yet I somehow I'm more up to date? Confused

Caitlin Glass fans feel free to spread the word (cause I probably won't).

She's returned to the U.S. and is working for Funimation again

Here's a somewhat recent interview I stumbled upon
