Interesting. Narita is replacing Suzuoki in Rurouni Kenshin as well. He must sound similar. (At least I hope he does.)

I kinda predicted Narita would voice Bright since he was replacing Suzuoki in Kenshin. I rewatched Kenshin last month and their voices are quite similar so it's not a bad choice.

That video needed Bright beating up his own troops.

I wonder who the English Voice Actor will be.

Oh, and ANN didn't give us the link, but even though you can't see the trailer on the official website, it is available on Youtube

I believe Bright Noa was the only character who appeared in all first three Gundam series.

Mineva. As a baby in 0079 granted, but she was there.

Oh and, for whoever wrote this article: Thanks. Had no idea Bright was in the next chapter. Would have been a nice surprise. Good job.

Blame Sunrise for tweeting it and putting it in the trailers, not ANN. And even then, it's a real stretch to call something like that a spoiler.

Besides, the entire story is already known to all the fans that read the novels.

Bright's last appearance before now was the Zeta: A New Translation movies and that definitely was not 23 years ago.

Has anyone ever heard of earthmind? I tried looking them up when I heard they are doing the theme song, but can't seem to find anything.

Only the Japanese fans can read the books =/

I get where you're coming from though.

I believe Sunrise announced this like a month ago and consider that the story takes place in UC 0096 and the Char incident is in UC 0093, it's not hard to guess that Bright would make an appearance in this serie......

Can't believe I never imagined Narita would be chosen to replace Suzuoki, particularly since I'm not up to date on Rurouni Kenshin news and so forth, but this role seems to fit him like a glove. To say the least, comparing the two voices definitely puts him in the "damn near close enough" category.

As for the character's appearance in Gundam Unicorn...I think what should make that actually interesting is whatever Bright Noa says or does, not just his mere presence. Even if there are plenty of people who already know the gist of what the overall story is going to be like, I believe there are many small details that can be more valuable than just a plot outline full of major spoilers.

Besides, I seem to remember the fourth episode of the OVA wasn't going to be following the novels exactly. Which, at least for the moment, makes me glad I haven't been trying too hard to read up on them. Some will loudly complain, others will loudly cheer...I'll be happy if the episode is simply good, in and of itself.

I recently finished watching Code Geass, and after watching his role as Jeremiah. I have to say that he will be a very good replacement for Suzuoki as that i could have sworn that Narita sounded like the late Suzuoki in some parts. I personally could not have thought of a better replacement.

I guess he already booked his role as Bright Noah in the upcoming Gundam Origin anime as well. Which i guess will follow Lupin III's trend of keeping probably Furuya and Ikeda (and maybe few more) but will re-cast the rest. But that's a discussion for another time.
