Wow, my stomach dropped when I read this, I love Pani Poni! I'm glad they are including the crossover from Osaka Banpaku (I have the book but I can't wait to see it translated). The music cd sounds nice too.

Really wish the manga would get licensed, I loved the anime series and have watched it several times.

Yeah, it's a shame that all we have are unliscensed translations (not that they aren't any good). I would buy every volume for sure if it was liscensed.

..............I didn't even know there was a manga. Embarassed

I've watched the show every summer for three years now! I can't believe I didn't know there was a manga.
Well, those are a lot of cool add ons for the last issue. Might as well start reading it.

That blows. I never read the manga but I loooved the anime. I hope it got dropped because the writer wanted to stop and not because it wasn't popular and got canceled. That would be the final nail in the coffin for there ever being a season 2 of the anime.

OK there was a crossover between Azumanga Daioh & Pani Poni Dash?

That must have been an earthshattering event!

Anybody mind telling us what it was about? Since it is highly unlikely we (in the USA) will ever get a legal way to see it.

It was in the Azumanga Daioh 10th anniversery tribute book "Osaka Banpaku".

You can see it right here (though it isn't translated and it isn't the full thing)

There was also around 150 pages of doujins in the book, including 2 doujin oneshots in it by Aoki Ume (Hidamari Sketch) and Barusai (Ichigo Mashimaro).
