Wow that looks really nice. The trailer showed some scenes that where pretty far along in the original anime. Which brings up two questions for me. How long is this movie, and how far will the other movies go into the story? Of course there is one more thing. It's more of a plea then a question. PLEASE bring this over! I want more Berserk!

Ugh, CGI.
I must admit... It doesn't look very good. The CGI is too disturbing, and ugly.
And the action scenes especially seems to be very poorly integrated with that ugly CG.

This commercial...is...awesome...
At first I thought the CGI looked weird too. But now I think it's stylized - they're doing some weird type of 3d cel shading.
I say weird...but holy WOW This commercial has me excited.
...but that excitement is slightly tempered by the question..."What about the rest?" It sounds like this project is JUST the Golden Age arc. But...wow... this does look frickin' fantastic. (DID YOU SEE THAT WAR SCENE)
Oh, I just peed and pooped.

I'm sure how much of the manga they animate will depend entirely on how well these films do. If they make money, it's probably a safe bet they'll keep going.
Also, in the trailer (as well as those now old teasers), there is one brief imagine from (significantly) beyond the end of the old TV series. While it may just be a teaser for now, it does show some intent to animate that far.

yeah, that's the last scene where Guts swings his Dragonslayer (which he'll get after the previous anime) and he also has his hand cannon.

It looks amazing...but griffith looked a bit gammy in a few of those clips.
I still look forward to it.

Hey, who's the person at 23 seconds? At first I thought it was minister foss...but could it be the old ugly guy from the black swordsman arc - the one with the count? Naw. His face was messed up.

He had those in the Black Swordsman Prologue Arc as well. I was referring to the glimpse of Griffith right before that, in his Millennium Falcon feathery armor, which doesn't debut until after the Tower of Conviction.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was the fortune teller that gave Griffith the Behelit.

yes of course, but I was referring to the events after the offering in the eclipse, where only Guts an Caska survived (not the prologue).
The scene where he swings his Dragonslayer is probably in Misty Valley, the arc with the Apostle Rosine. It surely looks like it.

Most speculations points towards right after that encounter, with him fighting the Holy Iron Chain Knights.

It looks pretty good, the CG looks a bit funky in the nighttime part but I'm sure it'll look different on a theater screen compared to a lower-quality internet trailer. The battle scenes look great, it'll be nice to see them in full-scale action instead of pastel-chalked freeze frames.
Just waiting for news on who's doing the music, though I assume it's still Susumu Hirasawa.
