They also did Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 which was rather good. Jury's definitely still out on whether Bones + Noitamina = good or bad. |

Okay, anything animated by BONES ends up looking amazing. I'm already a huge fan of Koga's and Pako's art, so from a visual standpoint, this one's a no-brainer must-see.
Add in Mizushima's involvement and it's a done deal. The premise sounds fairly generic, but then sometimes that's the best format to bring out something truly great (Maybe it'll be a deconstruction of the urban/modern detective subgenre? Like Madoka was to the magical girl, and EVA was to the mecha? Oh, how I hope this is so).

There is an error in the article. Cowboy Bebop was animated by Sunrise, NOT Bones.
