How much anime do you typically watch in a day? whats the most you've watched in a day?

I've lately been going back into my full fledged anime viewing mode again. For me that means I watched 4 hours worth a day, which is 12 episodes (3 episodes an hour since an ep is 20 min long before op/end credits).

The most I watched in a day was a full season series and a half season series + a few eps to something else I think. so 24 eps + 12 eps + a few eps of something else is 12-14 hours worth in a day. That only happened once though. My avg for what I watched is what I said above where its 4 hours worth a day.

I'm hoping to finally clean up the list of anime a friend of mine gave me over a year ago. Just 27 animes to go.

On weekends I try and watch six episodes a day of currently airing series. Since I'm following (or was following before the end of the season) eighteen or so shows, the other six episodes would be watched during the week when I find some free time.

As for older series, I have seventy-six (76) different series or OVAs to watch composing one-thousand six-hundred and ninety-eight (1,698) episodes to watch. These are series that I have always wanted to at least check out but never caught them when they were being released on DVD (if applicable) or by fansub. The titles range from Bartender to Simoun to Reideen to Kure-nai, and a whole lot of varied stuff in between. It's quite the impressive list, I have to say. I try and get through them at a rate of two episodes a day, usually in the mornings before work, although lately I've managed three episodes per day.

Of course, I do rewatch Anime, whether it be titles I already own, titles I already have the fansubs of, or titles I have the fansubs but now wish to watch on DVD for the dub and high-definition aspects. It is quite hard to find room in my schedule for rewatches, but new Anime comes first.

The most episodes I've watched in a day recently was twelve, if by "recently" I mean three months ago. The most episodes I've ever watched in a single day was fourteen, which was the entirety of Rumbling Hearts in under twelve hours. First and only time I've ever marathoned a show from start to finish, and even then I took some breaks.

I like Anime, a lot, but I just cannot plough through a show like many people can, even of titles I love.

Well, I just finished Ergo Proxy, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Tokko, within a couple of weeks. I'm currently watching this "Highschool of the Dead", which is pretty good so far. I'd say I watch about 5 or 6 episodes a day. It all really depends on how tired I am after work.

I binge, and I binge hard. I watch entire seasons in single sessions. Then weeks or months will pass and I'll only watch a few random episodes of shows I've already seen, after a while I'll find a new show I want to watch and start the process over again.

I put in 2 maybe 3 episodes a day if I have time. I occasionally binge a season on the weekends and then its more like 6-12 hours then.

Yea I binge as well. I'll chew through 4-7 hours a day for a week and then be done for about 2-3 months.

The most I have ever watched in one sitting was probably.. when I started watching Eureka Seven. It's not my favorite anime, but I was in the mood to watch anime in general and I had 52 episodes of it waiting for me to watch.. So I did. The next day, 22 hours later, I was finished. Man weekends are great, and then I crashed. When I woke up I watched the first Season of Spice and Wolf as well. I haven't even come close to that since.

Around 3-5 episodes now, because my work doesn't leave me with much time. I think my record is a 35 episodes marathon. I don't do that often anymore as I've already watched all the good shows that are commonly known.

Normally I'd watch around 4 episodes a day for simulcasts but I've been marathoning through the Gintama series. My 3rd all nighter in a row and it feels stressful. I've been getting at least 20 episode a day and a huge lack of sleep. It's worth it though.

With anime running about 22 minutes now, I can squeeze in 3 episodes an hour. By the time I get home, and go to bed, I can easily watch a full 13 episode series in the 6 hours a night I dedicate to down time.

That's if I'm not interrupting this time with game playing.

I have a life outside watching anime, so I watch 2-3 episodes a day at most, and even that not every day. Normally Id say about 5 or 6 episodes a week, sometimes less, depending on my other commitments.

I always wondered how can people be up to date with some 10 or more current series plus watching older series at the same time, chapeau bas! I would love to watch more of the current series and catch up on the older ones, but it seems unachievable for me.

Since I have a lot of varied interests, I don't get to watch anime every day. However, when I do, I like to be able to watch at least a disc in a sitting, but have watched an entire twenty-six episode season in a day - I find it's the best way to appreciate the story of an anime, particularly when a story spans over an entire season.

My worst anime-viewing binge was the first two seasons (thirty-nine episodes) of Initial D in the space of forty hours. And that included a half-day of work in there.

There is no pattern, because life generally gets in the way. I just watch it whenever I have time and the amount varies. I do usually tend to just pick one of my days off from work and use it to catch up the 6-8 things from Crunchyroll I'm watching this season. I did that yesterday. I also will watch any purchased or rented anime for two or three hours each night before I have to get to sleep.

As far as the most I've watched in one sitting I finished all 74 episodes of Monster in three days. I had to have watched at least 30 episodes of it the second day.

I typically watch one to two episodes of anime per day, but there are times when I end up watching more.
