No im not getting it or selling it. I just got paid and was looking for some dvds. And ran across it.
My friend tried to sell a purse on ebay (some fancy name-brand) and ebay took it off saying it was a bootleg.
How can ebay allow such rampent selling of dvd bootlegs?

They basically allow it because, if they didn't, they would have to employ people to do nothing but research every single DVD (or other item) sold on ebay to see if it's legit.

First - This should have been posted in the Retail section

Second - They are bootlegs, and I refer you to this tread for your future reference - animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5401

Third - eBay doesn't check out the items being sold unless someone reports them. So you have to be very careful when buying anime off of eBay - on single DVDs you are generaly alright, but sets and OSTs are generaly bootlegged.

Yeah, on eBay when buying anime, the general rule is if the deal looks too good to be true, it probably actually is too good to be true.

No, not really. We can't blame people for linking to something they don't know is a bootleg.

Just report the post and we'll edit out the URL as soon as we can be reasonably sure that its a boot (This took all of half a second).
