Huh, I wonder if the film will cover the same material the anime did (from what I've heard, the anime didn't cover all the original novels) or if it'll start at the beginning again.

Yes, I would also love to buy the anime series! Been reading the manga as it comes out, and it makes me so happy. Just finished vol. 5. The little cartoons at the start of each chapter make me laugh.

Another vote for wishing someone would bring over the TV show and OVA already. As for the movie it sounds like another compilation film and those tend to suck. Seems like too much info in the novels to cram in a movie.

Yes, please someone license the anime already. I still need to read the manga, it's been sitting in my B&N wishlist since the first volume came out.

I'll be honest when I say that the anime series kind of bored me. However perhaps a movie rather than a series will suit the original source much better.

The TV series covered 3 of the 4 Library War novels, so perhaps the film will feature the 4th novel?

Add me to the list of people wanting to see the anime released in English!

Hopefully? I wants moar; and not a recap, no matter how great the TV series was.

So many Library Wars fans! Who knew? Well count me in as someone who'd love to have the chance to buy the TV series on R1 DVD (though unfortunately I won't be holding my breath). I too am keenly interested in this movie, though preferably it picks up where the series left off.
