I'm going to be buying this ASAP (provided it is available in the UK), although I don't have an iPad
I bought Throw Line before I even had an iPod (wasn't familiar with apps and thought there was a way to run them on a PC) and it was just as well since by the time I got one, the app was no longer available. |

Yoshitoshi ABe has put more artwork on on iTunes since I last looked, under "ABworks". Can't really comment on the apps since they're 3rd gen iPod/3GS and up only

If you consider an undressed Barbie doll pr0n, I guess then it is. The female buttocks is the worst of it. I am sure that does not pass for some people's standards. Range Murata has full feature nudity in some of his art. This app does not. It is an cool app. On the color illustrations, hold the screen, and the picture turns to the original line art. I would like to see more of Range Murata's work. Like you were saying, some of it will not pass Apple's morality standards. There is a Pixiv app on the Itunes store for free. For those who don't know, Pixiv is a website that many Japanese artist use to show off their work. Kinda like Deviantart. The app is for the Ipad and Itouch. The app does not allow the mature rated pictures to be shown. It is not fool proof. Works most of the time. It is in English; however, it is slow. If you make an account, use lower case letters. Thanks Shiroi Hane. I found three apps under the ABworks developer. I looked for Throw Line. It must have been removed by Apple. Too bad you did not download it. Even if Apple removes the app from the store, you can still use it on your devices. It stays on your Itunes program. Just make sure you backup your drive. I got color-mono (ABworks) just know. It is cool. I was afraid the pictures were going to be sized for the smaller Ipod Touch. It isn't. At least that app has Ipad size pictures. There are about 26 color images, and their sketches. For the price, it is not bad. I like the fact Range Murata app allow you to save the illustrations to your photos. The allows you to use the pictures as background. You can't do that with the ABworks one. |

Like I said, Throw Line disappeared ages ago but I'd already downloaded it, which is why I made sure to buy this app now even though I don't have an iPad (got the ABe ones too).

for my liking, these character designs are too much wide/fat faced... this is one of the reasons why it was not easy to watch last exile... it is artificial style: originality for the sake of originality... that lets go of anime's grace (similar to kekkaishi or blue exorcist works, where every character has skull-shaped nose, as if it was chopped as a medieval punishment for a crime or as if it fell of because of syphilis)...
