Quote: | "D.I.C.E (DNA Integrated Cybernetic Enterprises) is a large organization established to deal with emergencies occuring throughout the Sarbylion galaxy. D.I.C.E F-99 is the only unit comprised entirely of highly trained kids. When a problem arises, D.I.C.E is called to the rescue. And when their special training and skills aren't enough, they rely on their Dinobreakers to help get the job done. Always on call, always on alert – D.I.C.E is ready for action!" |
Geh. Sounds like it's tailor-made for my kids to love it, and me to loathe it. "Dinobreakers", my foot - "merchandise-breeders", more likely.

And where would we all be without highly trained kids to save the world for us decrepit, useless, dementia-riddled adults?

Dontcha know? In the future, only teenagers -- I mean, highly licensable characters that kids can identify with -- will be able to save the universe!

Imagine if they fought wars with gear that worked the way it does in kids' anime (for optimum merchandiseability, naturally):
From an anime battlefield wrote: | "All right men, we're going to be attacking that enemy position over there. Now, as we go, don't forget that each of you has only one individually useless piece of our unit's sole armament, and that to activate the whole device, you have to assume the appropriate poses, while saying your code phrases.
The weapon will then transform and activate into a vehicle that is ridiculously overcomplicated, completely impractical, and slightly less effective than we'd all be in aggregate, if we were instead each equipped with a toothpick and a pocketwatch."
"Sir, can we sing our snappy, corporately approved battle song, as we attack?"
"Of course, son. But remember to pose appropriately." |

Can I enquire as to why a children's show is worthy of such scorn? Its clearly not meant for you, so here's a revolutionary idea-
Don't watch it.

Can I enquire as to why you take umbrage at a little show of humor (or is that humour)?

Actually, upon reading the word 'Dinobreakers' my first thought was of Beyblade, what with their team name; 'Bladebreakers'.
