Why not just put this stuff online and sell it? Figure you'd get alot more cash via online....

I'm sure they'll get enough people to clear the place out as it is. Seems like they're aiming for the least amount of work possible. I mean they've barely even organized the place. Shame though, kinda wanted to check this out but I happen to live on the other side of the country....then again maybe its better this way, I won't have to be mobbed by screaming hetalia fangirls Laughing

This is Stu Levy we are talking about here, so really it doesn't really surprise me in the least.

But once this garage sale of worn out office furniture, paper clips and manga that likely will remain unfinished for a either forever or for potential years to come, this really will mean the end of Tokyo Pop.

For better or worse, people will likely remember Stu Levy. Well at least for a little while before he eventually becomes forgotten by most people like the Chrono Trigger was back in the 90's.

Glad I live in LA where I can easily go there and get tons of crap for nearly nothing.

Oh wait, I don't live there, I live halfway across the country.

Bullshit is what this is.

I was trying to avoid that angle for once. He's crazy stupid, not plain stupid.

This is kinda sad. Hope all you Californians come away with good manga swag though.

Also I originally read this as Garbage Sale instead of Garage Sale and was confounded for about half a second. Laughing

Well at least Tokyo Pop will be leaving with their dignity.....

Man Stu, you cease to amaze me.
As if blaming all of your insane, court jester-like money squandering on Borders wasn't bad enough.

Hey, but there's still the Priest Movie.....Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Good Gravy....look at all that manga.
Shocked
It just goes to show you the sheer number of series this company has distributed over the years.
Darn me and my location. I don't think I could live further away from California if I tried.
Anime smile;;;

Has anyone found out how much their getting rid of this stuff for? A couple bucks off retail or actaully like hardcore clearance?
