Boo. Not a piece of crap like this. Two words: Wasted. Premise.

What's with you Sentai? Why not license something like Dennou Coil? And give it a dub, BD, the works.
Why not license something... I dunno, "good"?

(Not that I'm complaining about Highschool of the Dead or Daimao)

Oh cool! Between the subs coming out really slowly and a couple of DVD episodes that really needed to be broadcast it was a little hard to feel motivated about watching this, guess I'll add this to my to-buy list.

(and seconding the we need Den-noh Coil remark!)

Good by whose standard? Yours alone?
If we use the rating on ANN then this anime looks like a good one.

Just because in your opinion it is crap doesn't mean that it was a bad choice for Sentai. Having never seen it myself I think I will pass on this one but I am glad for the fans of the series to get a chance to own a legal copy of it.

Reverse my words a bit; why would I call it crap? Because I was disappointed. Who wouldn't say that to something that offended them?

Then you're a very fortunate person.

It looks like it got good ratings from the spring preview and I was too busy with watching the ero and otaku shows that season to watch it. So I would not say that I am a very fortunate person.

Normally, when a distrib licenses a show I don't like or don't care about, I don't bother to comment out of consideration for those who are happy about the news. But I have to make an exception for Night Raid. I had really high hopes for this one and ended up bitterly disappointed. I hope this sells well for Sentai so that they can use the money to release a title that I do actually give a shit about.

This is a classic example an anime dropping the ball. It certainly seemed interesting at first but it never did anything with it's potential.

It's getting a Blu-ray release, so I would say yes.

Wow... and they're dubbing it too... I've been around long enough to know when something is going to lose money.

I remember checking out the anime's first episode last year..didn't really interest me at all..it was quite boring to say the least..Sentai or Funimation need to seriously license Bakemonogatari..its long over due.

While it definitely had wasted potential is wasn't THAT bad at all. Sure the last few episodes were a bit stupid but at least we're getting lesser-known shows like this, then again Sentai/ADV have been known for picking up relatively unknown things like this.
