...and why haven't you given this comic genius more work?
I mean, I love Shinji Takamatsu, but we need more "GOOD" comedy.
And... who better than Nabeshin... and Pedro?

We need to make him direct more comedy anime.

really? I've been to San Japan once and it was cool and all, but it seemed pretty small (and wasn't that expensive to get into)
I guess this means they got enough money from last year to host someone kinda famous. so I'm happy for them if that's the case.
seems like a good excuse to go again this year

The people at that con are in for a treat then. I was at AX last year when Nabeshin was there, and he was incredibly entertaining. If one is in the area, it'd be worth attending just for him.

I went to San Japan once, it was a pretty charming, laid-back convention. Small compared to A-Kon, but pleasant, no huge lines or sardine-packed sweaty crowds, and pretty much everything other conventions have. I heard it moved to the Rivercenter Mall on the San Antonio Riverwalk, which I bet is pretty pleasant too.
Meeting Nabeshin would be awesome. He's brushed with death countless times, especially after so many fan requests to perform the Nabe-hame-ha. That's why he's got, no, needs Afro power!

Glad to hear that we're in for a real treat this year.
I guess SJ is still kind of a small fry in the con scene. But at least we can get some cool guests for this year so that says something. ^^
@Leo: Technically it's been moved to the Marriott next to Rivercenter Mall, which has been a HUGE improvement IMHO.

Looks like the afro man is back. Didn't think I would see him again.

Has Nabeshin done anything since those episodes of Bakatest he directed? I really like his work.
