It'd be great if they could pull together some sort of fund raiser art book. There are some really great pieces for this on Twitter right now with more to come. This site seems to be collecting some of them.

Ironic. Personally, praying is not my thing. I of course still hope and wish they may all have the strength and courage to pull through this. And that people not suffering from the disaster can reach out as much as possible to offer help and support. |

This is a beautiful sentiment, and one I hope more artists follow.
I-I don't mean it to sound picky, but, well... to me, it looks more like Haruhi is parodying the Genji Ikari deep-in-thought pose rather than praying. Maybe it's the lax-ness of her hands?

What a beautiful picture! I just found out today about the seriousness of the situation. I hope that all survivors of this terrible disaster are found safe and stay calm until found. Help is on the way Japan! We hear you! This is a terrible disaster, but we will get through this, I know it. Everyone who loves anime and Japan should try to help in whatever way they can. Anime Communities Unite!
