Here's one that's a bit bizarre...even for me, but I think it should be more manageable.
Do any of you know where I could import and find...the French dubbed version of Le Chevalier D'Eon? :3 Preferably with English subtitles - my own French is subpar to the point where I'd get stressed out just watching a single episode without the subs. Now, I knew this series was released in the R2 market all over the place, and generally, big R2 releases aren't limited to just an English dub. And of course, there's the knowledge that there IS a French dub track of the series, but I'd like to know on exactly which release. |

Hm. Where could I possibly find French anime release. Oh yea, Amazon France.
Here you go: http://www.amazon.fr/chevalier-deon-lintegrale-Kazuhiro-Furuhashi/dp/B001IDPQ5C/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1300033740&sr=1-1 That's the last one in stock. Last edited by The King of Harts on Sun Mar 13, 2011 11:34 am; edited 2 times in total |

*sigh*
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I already looked on Amazon France, but frankly, 72 euros is a little bit.....insane... My mistake. And yeah, I'm guessing there really isn't a multi-lingual release anywhere, huh? (Was really hoping for those subs...) Anyways, thanks. I'll see to the individual releases perhaps, but a few volumes there already cost nearly $70. Which is utterly insane. EDIT: Stupid as it was, it doesn't look like there were any hits in Amazon Canada either. *sigh* |

When looking for a European release, you should check all the European countries. One them usually imports it from the other, and sometimes at lower prices. For example, Italy is selling the French version of Le Chevalier D'eon for a mere 55 Euros. That's still $77 USD, but hey, that's importing for ya. Remember that. Nothing is going to be cheap unless you're getting something from SE Asia.

Bah. $77 is still a lot.
I'd prolly heavily consider if it if had multiple language options, but at this rate, I'd have to splice audio and video from two completely different regions. That's quite the pain in the ass. Well, I guess this is another impossible request... =_= I should probably stop asking these... All I ever accomplish is aggravating you guys, and annoying myself. Thank you though. |
