First the GITS: SAC movies, now the Cowboy Bebop movies. Blu-Ray fans are having a good month.

It's about frickin time. This and the series not being on Blu-ray always felt like one of the most glaring omissions from the US market.

Agreed! Even Today the animation is top notch. Both the series and movie. Even though its what about 14 years since its debut and it still looks great. Definitely need a Bly-ray release here for sure.

It's not that bad of a cover. I'm happy to hear that this movie is getting a BD release. Hopefully the transfer is very good and if it is, I can't wait to add it to my collection.

Most definitely looking forward to getting this on Blu-ray. Wish the series was available in that format, as well.

Sweet, and a low retail price. I'm just glad it's not $40 or something ridiculous like that

Hopefully it'll be region free with a bit of luck but I won't hold my breath. I still haven't gotten over Funi [expletive] me up the poo pipe by making the first two parts of Brotherhood Region free and then slapping the third with a nice big fat A.

I thought the movie looked and sounded great on DVD. Even US$18 is a bit too much for me to buy the Blu-Ray disk when the version I already have is Good Enough. Especially given the current economic conditions.
Now, if I didn't already have the DVD then I'd jump for joy at this release (great quality, good price), but I just cannot justify spending money on a version which is only marginally superior to the one I already have.

Hopefully they'll restore Spike's missing arm in the Blu-Ray.

I have the DVD, but I'm very tempted to double-dip.
I wish they'd gotten rid of that shit cover, though. They should have used this or this.
