Well, I'm glad it'll have a box, but why a bandana? I don't really recall any particular character from the series ever wearing one to make a trend out of it. Personally, I'd like the first OST instead.
And I wonder what the actual DVDs will look like, maybe they'll be in the form of a record like in the intro?

Geneon doesn't really give you OST with boxs. Usually they don't give anything But the bandana seems like a weird choice.

A record would be awesome . And the bandanna thing is really weird, the only part I remember there even being a bandanna looking object was episode 1 where Forgot his name...got his hand chopped off by Mugen, and was in the fire at the Tea House.

I'm definitely getting the SC Limited Edition with box. I knew they're gonna add something unique to the box but wasn't expecting a badana. A Gin and Mugen figure would of been nice. It's not like I'm going to wear the banada, especially here in los angeles.

That'd be funny to see on the news:
"Recently, a new gang has made a strong presence in the Los Angeles area. They all sport bandanas that were given away in a Samurai Champloo box set. As opposed to using guns, this gang uses katanas..."

Geneon is releasing the Best of Samurai Champloo OST at around the same time.
Any chance that this will be pack in with the box? Has Geneon pack any OST with thier box. If not, I gotta ebay the banada to pick up the official OST instead. Also I hope this isn't the tin box with slim case but a regular cardboard box.

According to Anime on DVD, the OST will be released on the same day as Vol.1 of the anime.
I'd really love to have that OST included as well, but I doubt Geneon will change what they've already planned.
I'm pretty sure Deep Discount DVD will have both the DVD and OST on preorder about a month or 2 before their releases, though.
I'm going to say the box (for a 7 volume series, in case some of you didin't know) will be $29.75 and the CD $9.89. Ah, I'm so anxious, now... .
