May I ask just what it is, exactly, that you find so appealing about "Magnum, P.I"? And how, exactly, did you become aware of that series in the 1st place? |
There's a local TV station that syndicates it. Sure it's cheesy, but the characters are a lot of fun. And the episodes written by Bruce Cervi are INSANE. |
I cannot say for certain if I found it cheesy or not (it's been waaay too long since I've last scene any episodes!).

So you're a fan too? Sweet!
Well, some episodes are a bit cheesy, but some aren't. Most of the former are intentionally kinda silly anyway. There are also a few very dark and introspective episodes.
Two eps that can give you a good example of the show's range are "Paper War" (light) and "Death and Taxes" (dark). Some other great "dark" story arcs involve Michelle, Lily, or Mack, plus any written by Bruce Cervi. Other great "light" ones are "Legend of the Lost Art" and any episodes with Higgins' long-lost siblings...really just John Hillerman with a different disguise and foreign accent.

Hey It's Pervy here!
I would like to introduce myself to ANN and all of its members. I am a big fan of anime and have a website of my own. I love to travel and I seek out good people where ever I go. I hope to find some cool friends here as well.
I live in Toronto now, although I spent most of my life in Europe.
I am a 29 years old man, with wife and a tiny newborn son Bailey.
Apart from family life and travels I also enjoy martial arts and hockey.
Peace and love!

I'm actually in town for a couple days for Christmas. It's nice to be back. No school, no work, and all play. Plus all my old high school friends are back in town too so I've pretty much been at the bar the last 3 nights Next 2 days will be spent with the family though. You have any fun holiday plans?
