What an assortment! Definitely no shortage of Christmas gifts to buy
Two new Fumi Yoshinaga books are a must, Yotsuba&! goes without saying (though I got my copy of this book last week) and you can never go wrong with a new volume of 20th Century Boys, except for reeling over the inevitable cliffhangers anyway. I might pick up the new volume of Sundome out of morbid curiousity but I still haven't read the previous few so will likely hold off. House of Five Leaves volume two for sure though. Weeks like this make me wish I had more than a couple days off for the holidays

Tiny nitpick: Spice and Wolf Novel 3 is being released today, not Novel 4.
Don't I wish it was getting released today as well!

o.o last time i checked manga was like $9.99 or 10.99. Now it's 12.99! wow! I thought 9.99 was expensive already. >.<

Kinda sad to see basically just two companies doing releases (yeah, one Vertical, but still) Did Tokyopop just fall off the face of the earth or something? For awhile there, they were making up the majority of the releases I bought, now it's pretty much just Yen Press and Viz since the demise of Del Ray Manga.

I got Yotsuba last week! The cashier at Borders said that, usually manga doesn't have a rigid street date, and sometimes they put it out as soon as they get it in!

Companies tend to publish in cycles so while there's lots of Viz Media and Yen Press this week (as is customary for the end of the month), another week the manga selection will be predominantly Tokyopop titles. |

That would be Spice and Wolf 3, the manga, not the novel. The manga was released in November and covers the last third of the original Spice and Wolf novel. |
