If you click the link to otanews there's a magazine scan with what I assume is the protagonist and two other characters. Can't say I really like it, although the one in the upper lefthand corner almost looks like a kid version of Funny Valentine from Steel Ball Run. |

Ahgggg I love Yugioh 5D's the most out of all 3 generations. Hopefully it won't end too soon. orz

Well, as long as it's entertaining like the first. I liked 5D's for a while when it was still being dark like the original, but the ending seems surprising to me.
I don't know if I like those character designs to Zexal though, Takahashi looked like he used Yugi and Yusei for fusion material. Well, if he's writing it, here's hoping for an over the top dark children's show, but if he's only doing the premise then we'll see...

Note that "Dual Layout" should be "Duel Layout" in the article, and that Shin Yoshida also directs the scripts for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, which the article doesn't mention. Well, he started directing scripts since 27-present. Tomioka did it for 1-26 though.

Kaz is designing the cards as well, and will most likely be a bigger influence in the story this time around, since he was persuaded into this one more that the others.

It does look promising , and I will definitely looking forward to watching it in eng dub , HOWEVER WHAT I DO HOPE IS THAT THE HORROR THAT IS 4 CRAP KIDS IS NOT GOING TO LICENSE THIS SERIES AS WELL AS DOING THE ENG DUB !!!! |
