Lucky you....I'm still waiting for a US release of StrikerS series and the 1st movie. How can these not yet be licensed?

Odds are the license for StrikerS isn't easy to get. It's probably in the same boat as Higurashi Kai.

The Japanese blu-ray has English subs for the 1st movie. I got mine last week, I think mine was shipped on the 28th of November and I got in last Wednesday.

The StrikerS license might be expensive, since it's a two cour sequel to a pair of popular series. Another possibility is that not many people bought the Geneon/Funi Nanoha & A's DVD sets, so no company wants to put more money into a poor-selling-in-R1-land franchise. While I enjoyed seeing an older Nanoha, Fate and Hayate, I did feel that the cast for StrikerS was much too big and the series was a bit unfocused. I'd probably still buy it, though.

My copy of the Nanoha movie BD shipped from Amazon on 26/11 and arrived on 29/11. Unlike Haruhi, who got stuck in Anchorage for a couple of days while Amazon sent the appropriate paperwork to set her free, Nanoha breezed through US Customs.

Just watched it. Man was that fun! Looked and sounded GREAT compared to the series. A very awesome compilation. My girlfriend was kinda startled by the little kiddy nips but eh...

Very nice exclusive extras from CD Japan. I will pre-order the second movie day one of solicitation.

I just got my LE. WORTH-EVERY-CENT!! Good BD quality, good extras, lovely photo of Nanoha and Fate, and an interesting folder. I'll be buying the LE for the 2nd movie in 2013. BET ON IT.

LOVE THIS.

I think for once everyone can agree that this is a extremely fulfilling release. Words can't express how proud I am to own it.

A forum goer recently brought up an interesting topic in the Retail section. They were new to collecting anime and were wondering if the enjoyment from buying so many shows fades over the years. THIS title has really brought back the enjoyment I have been missing. Yeah, the price may be something we aren't used to, but the sheer pleasure of watching this movie is definitely worth it. The DVD extras and booklets, although untranslated, are just full of so much info! This movie is really a Nanoha fans dream come true. I think I might watch it again tonight with the commentary track on Smile

BTW, it looks just fantastic sitting next to both my season collections. The logo matches with the font used for the spines of A's thins. It's kinda like they planned it on purpose haha!
