I got in trouble because of Kiddy Grade. Just because it has kiddy in its title doesn't mean its that kind of kiddy.
I've been meaning to watch Kiddy Girl-and. It being on Crunchyroll should make it easier to watch.

Great. Two titles that have been on my radar for a while. Have already seen Kiddy Girl, and am definitely not up for a re-watch. Ever.

Hmmm, do I want to pick up Kiddy Girl-and again? I only watched like the first 3 or 4 eps, then forgot about it til now. I just remember Ascoeur being very annoying.
I'll check out the other two though, as I've never seen any of either...

@egoist: Kiddy Grade and Kiddy Grade-and are not the same series nor is Kiddy Grade-and a sequel.

I know that fact. But what's that got to do with my post? I'm talking specifically about Kiddy Girl.

Region blocking: available in North and South America, Middle East and Africa and the same European and ASEAN nations with the widest access.
Seems to not be available in Oceania. Maybe Crunchy needs to swing a deal with Madman.

There is no Kiddy Grade-and, it's Kiddy Girl-and.

You could always just watch as the episodes become free.

Scott, it may be a "distant" sequel with a degree of reconning involved, but it is still a sequel in that it is set chronologically later and in the same universe.

I've heard Mushi-Uta was very good (but incomplete) ....
(got the fansubs while back, decided to wait upon hearing about the story, light novel ? manga for a sequel.. guess it never came..)

Well, guess I might as well check it out as I liked the first Kiddy Grade.

Here's hoping they don't recycle ADV's Cosplay Complex subs, which features such distortions as "I'm just a kid" being rendered as "I'm too innocent."

If CR has Kiddy Girl-and, that implies Funi passed on the license. Good call.

That's what I thought, too. It's nowhere near as good. The main characters of Kiddy Girl-and substitute moe pandering for the charm of the heroines of Kiddy Grade.

I watched Kiddy Girl-and for a few reasons. Originally it was because I liked the original. Then when I started watching it and realized it was awful, I finished it for the same reason I watched the dreadful Kuroshitsuji II through to the end. I said to myself, "If I see how it ends, I'm far less likely to go back later and rewatch it out of morbid curiosity." (see Final Fantasy: Unlimited for example) I reached a state where it was a case of downhill momentum, and if I remember, I wasn't watching that many shows when it was new, so it was for lack of something better as well as a lack of desire to do a catch-up marathon on something else. Now with all the streaming options available, there are plenty of other things to choose from. If you want to watch something that will lower your IQ in a less painful way, I think Anime Network has old Cromartie High School episodes available.
