I recently made a purchase from this amazon seller and wondered was this person basically just the same "shawnek" from rightstuf? I had a couple questions regarding an order and I just wanted to know if anyone has made an anime purchase from them on amazon, is it basically just from the rightstuf store?

Yep, it is. When I got stuff from amazon seller shawnek, came in a TRSI box and the receipt said "amazon sales", if it hadn't been for that, I might've totally forgotten I'd technically ordered that through amazon.

Yea, that's the Shawne from Rightstuf. I think he uses that mostly for returns and items that have a lot of stock left that he needs to be cleared. Some of the stuff there is actually cheaper than it is at TRSI, so you should probably keep an eye on it for future purchases.

Ok thanks I was just wondering because I bought a Rahxephon box set on their amazon store for like 38 bucks and it is now on sale for like 19 bucks(from the Xmas deals). So I was just wondering, I think I will probably call them this next week to see if I can get a price adjustment or something.

That's not likely to work- it's pretty clear that the Amazon store and TRSI proper aren't the same thing, despite techincally having the same source (in fact, the amazon prices are still the same.)
What you can do is try to cancel the Amazon order (or return it, if it already shipped) and re-order from TRSI. This is assuming you haven't already recieved and opened it. If that's the case, just chalk this up to bad luck (and perhaps a lesson learned in holiday season shopping habits.)

Heh, that explains a lot. I remember buying from Shawnek on Amazon, but it came in Rightstuf packaging and I was automatically sent TRSI's Fall catalog a few weeks ago, even though I hadn't ordered from their site.
Now I know why.
