i cry. 9.8 million wasted. i could live off 1% of that for my entire life. not big spender. right down the drain , going to complete waste

As much as I really hate 4kids sometimes, I can't really smile about this. After all, of all the licensing companies, 4kids is one of the best about advertising. Aside from that, to be perfectly honest, a large portion of current fans probably started off by watching the 4kids versions of shows like Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh!
But I guess that isn't really the point. From the sounds of it, they're not really planning to close up shop, so I'm not terribly concerned either.

So? Them being a gateway for a portion of fans was a mutually beneficial act of capitalism. If a person is able to be emotionally entangled enough with 4kids to grimace about losses then another person is capable to being on the other end of the spectrum, along with everything in between.

Err, how old are you? Are you like 80 and don't plan on living very much longer? Because $98,000 won't last very long no matter how thrifty you are. Unless you mean 98,000 a year or quarter, in which case, of course you can live off that for the rest of your life. Millions of people do...

I know you guys like beating the dead horse that is 4Kids, but I personally feel bad for those people losing pay and jobs. I mean, not everyone at the company were directly involved with destroying your precious One Piece and Yu-gi-oh

I would bet the reason they lost so much is because their player is brocken, once a commercial starts up it reapeats forever and just breaks.
