5 Centimeters Per Second (movie) Masterpiece An anime with excellence beyond words. Excellent art and flow of story, Near masterful music, and excellent dubs. But what does best if move your soul to the point of almost tears. If you havent seen this movie, you should.
Ah My Buddha (TV) Very good (dub & sub) One of the most perverted shows ive ever seen
Ah! My Goddess (TV) Excellent Great show and excellent story, Story built up over time and had great music and the overall feel was rewarding.
Ai Yori Aoshi (TV) Masterpiece A wonderful blend of romance, comedy, and alot of heartbreak. The story is very in depth and the characters and music go well with the story. It can be sad and heartwarming at the same time. Great anime for anyone to enjoy
Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ (TV) Masterpiece The same as the previous season, a little shorter but it gets the job done and shows more of the love between the characters, but their wasnt a real closure to the series, im willing to bet we will see more.
Air (TV) Masterpiece A truly wonderful work of art with excellent music, great animation, and beautiful story along with it. As the story progressed it got sadder and sadder, and at the end your left in tears, I wonderful story that I could watch 10 fold.
Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka (TV) Excellent A very very good show with a deep story. The story is a little awkward and got irritating at some point but stick with it you wont regret it.
Akira (movie) Masterpiece This move is just perfect, the music goes along nicely with the story, the story is different but pulls you in. Animations are great. And overall this is just a great film.
Azumanga Daioh (TV) Very good Fun show and some great comedy, Music was good, but really no plot, nonetheless great show.
Bakemonogatari (TV) Masterpiece I cant really place any words into this show. It was just fabulous.
Black Lagoon (TV) Excellent A very action packed anime with semi-decent english dub. The anime is also very on edge with the dialogue as well which makes it more refreshing as a adult anime.
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV) Very good Very Funny, Very violent, and goofy as can be.
Bokura ga Ita (TV) Excellent A very deep and moving story with some interesting twists. The music was great and moving, but overdone in some parts. The animation though bothered me a bit. It felt very odd to see there eyes so big, but then again thats anime for you.
Boys Be... (TV) Good The story is odd in a sense it shows the Boys side of the romance story, although it does it well. the Animations of the characters seemed larger to me and it made the women look like Men in some instances.
Burst Angel (TV) So-so Good show but the Music and overall feel of the show bored me.
Chaos;HEAd (TV) Very good One of the oddest shows ive seen in a very long time. It has alot of special terms so make sure you pay attention, but the good thing is the story had alot of work put into it and it will grab you till the end.
Chobits (TV) Excellent Great series, excellent music and animations, some comedy thrown in too, but it seems at the end they tried to wrap it up in a hurry.
Clannad (movie) Masterpiece The voice acting was different and the art different then the series, but this movie was great in almost all aspects, it had great music, excellent acting even with the new actors, and the story was excellent. Tear jerker for sure.
Clannad (TV) Masterpiece An excellent drama with a deep story, great voice acting, awesome music. I was emotionally driven to watch and finish this show and the ending was good. A must watch for anyone.
Clannad After Story (TV) Masterpiece One of the deepest stories ive seen in a very long time. The story and the voice acting truly brought this anime to life and made it shine like the sun itself. When this hits the US I will buy it for sure, all time favorite of mine and will be for a very long time.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (TV) Masterpiece Awesome story, Great animation, superb music, and lots and lots of action filled with intelligent strategy.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (TV) Masterpiece An absolutely mind boggling story with a awesome ending. The story was deep and can keep anyone interested. I love this show and I cant say enough how good this show is.
Comic Party (TV) Excellent Puts Manga into anime and does a great job, the story is good, the dubbing is very good. Although the ending left a cliffhanger it makes you yearn for more.
Comic Party: Revolution (TV) Excellent Just as good as the first season, although the voices changed it wasnt a huge difference in most cases, story is good in a sense that it shows what happened beyond the first season, although it cut off the ending without telling you what happened at the end of the last episode.
Cowboy Bebop (TV) Masterpiece Awesome show all around, music, animation, and action.
DearS (TV) Excellent Although the opening music was not to my liking the animations of the characters were good and the story was awesome, and the comedy was superb. Awesome anime for anyone
Death Note (TV) Masterpiece A deep and compelling masterpiece from which words cannot describe, i saw the subtitled version and the voices (Japanese at the time) were superb and the voice acting flawless, the animations of the characters where fluid and full of life, and the surroundings and the lighting in the surroundings was amazing and well worth the effort, this anime is a masterpiece for that anyone can enjoy.
Eden of the East (TV) Masterpiece A very good and twisted show. Deep deep plot and just plain awesome.
Elemental Gelade (TV) Excellent An excellent anime with a compelling story with some romance and comedy thrown into the mix. The English Dubs are done very well and the music was true to the anime and well done.
Elfen Lied (TV) Masterpiece An anime beyond words, music and animations were near flawless. The story was original and in depth with every episode. Every episode let the story evolve beautifully. A perfect Anime for anyone.
Excel Saga (TV) Decent Ok show, the main character talks very fast and its hard to understand her sometimes. But its got some great comedy and excellent dubing
Fate/stay night (TV) Excellent An excellent show with superb dubs and amazing visuals and sound. The Story went along very nicely and overall the story was great, I can watch this show 5 times over and still never get tired of it, Only reason it doesnt get a masterpiece rating is because of the ending.
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Good Good series, odd story but they kept it interesting, Music was not to my liking and the animations of the characters we kind of annoying. overall not too bad
Full Metal Panic! (TV) Masterpiece Damn near perfect all around, action with comedy, one of my favorites
Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (TV) Masterpiece Awesome sequel, although its short i hope to see more in the future.
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV) Masterpiece Great spinoff and the comedy is great and hilarious.
Ga-Rei-Zero (TV) Excellent Full of violence and drama, with a twisted plot. A must for anyone
Gantz (TV) Excellent An almost perfect blend of Violence, sex, and drama. the story evolved into alot of things and surprises came out of no where to only leave you asking for more. The Dubs were excellent and the animations were great, only flaw i say with this is the ending left you hanging and didnt really give a full conclusion.
Genshiken (TV) Very good Gives a more realistic view on the world of Otaku. Has some odd occurrences in the show and has some mediocre comedy. But the Dubbing is actually very good and it has some excellent music. Not too bad if your an otaku yourself.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society (movie) Excellent An excellent movie for any fan to enjoy, it helps if you know more about Ghost In the Shell but the movie works nicely by letting anyone just pick it up and watch it. The Dubs are very good as with you can expect with Ghost in the Shell and the Animations and music were very well done with lighting and music appearing and working nicely with the overall background of the story and scene. Very nicely done and a very good movie.
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) Masterpiece Excellent artwork, excellent dubbing, excellent music, excellent story, what more could you ask for?
Girls Bravo (TV) Excellent Great story of love and triumph, and the comedy is hilarious. The animations were great and the music was different but it added a nice touch. The ending was great and answered many questions. Great anime overall
Green Green (TV) Excellent An awesome show with great comedy, and a deep and moving story, the ending was heartbreaking and satisfying. Hopefully well see more.
Gunslinger Girl (TV) Excellent Excellent series, animations of that characters were good and the story pulls you in and makes you ask for more. Explains each child's story nicely and makes you feel for the characters.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Masterpiece Full of action, drama, and romance, without the extra crap. Just cant stop watching it, it pulls you in that far.
H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ (TV) Very good An excellent show in many ways. Even though the story was a bit cliche it got the job done with the animations, music, and overall feel of the story.
Hanaukyo Maid Team: La Verite (TV) Good Although the story was good it felt rushed and unfinished, and the comedy was weak. Music was good and the animations were good as well. Good for a quick watch.
Hand Maid May (TV) Excellent Excellent and heart warming story, excellent music and animations. But it feels unfinished and was way too short.
Happy Lesson (TV) Excellent Although very short, the animations of the characters where very good, and the music added a nice touch. And with 1 guy and 5 women all being "Moms" it makes for some good comedy
Haruka Nogizaka's Secret (TV) Very good Another otaku show but with a twist. Excellent art work and great music give this show a nice kick even with its short length.
Hatsukoi Limited (TV) Very good These are one of those shows that like to take your heart and twist it. It did everything well mainly because the love triangles were all deep. Dubs good, Art good, for the most part an all around good show.
Hellsing (TV) Excellent has a deep and well rounded story, the music went well with the dark background of the story, the Animations of the characters where good but they looked chunky and not fluid.
His and Her Circumstances (TV) Excellent A excellent and deep and in depth story that grew with each episode, the comedy was pretty good and the music went nicely with each scene, but some scenes were just awkward and odd, and ending felt unfinished with no closure.
ItaKiss (TV) Excellent A typical romance/drama at first glance but after a couple of episodes it develops into something more, a favorite of mine and always will be.
K-ON! (TV) Excellent Seems dumb at first, but any Lucky Star fan will love K-ON
Kanon (TV 2/2006) Masterpiece A deep and emotional story with a very good english dub. If you've seen AIR its very similar but slightly different in a sense.
Kasimasi - Girl Meets Girl (TV) Very good An Anime with a very interesting story of love between 3 women, the Japanese voices where very good, but the music was sub-par and the animations lacked at certain points. But it had good comedy and an evolving Risque storyline.
Kimikiss pure rouge (TV) Masterpiece Very surprised this anime has not been licensed. Its a personal favorite of mine. Has excellent art up until the end of the show where it begins to decline, but the music and overall story was superb. Id have no problem watching this show 5 times over.
Kodomo no Jikan (TV) Very good Most people tend to avoid this anime because its loli but I watched it and was very impressed with it. The visuals were great and the music awesome. and overall the story was what really caught me. Very Good anime but not for the light hearted.
Kurenai (TV) Masterpiece A superb show with excellent audio, animation, and even better story packed with some tear jerking moments, I can recommend this show to anyone, and once it's licensed I will buy all the DVD's.
Love Hina (TV) Very good Great romance story with some funny comedy thrown in the mix.
Love Hina Again (OAV) Good Short and sweet, closes off the Love Hina (TV)
Lucky Star (TV) Excellent Great anime, acting was superb, art excellent, music was different but good. The story overall made no sense but I think thats what caught my eye and overall got a two thumbs up for me.
Maburaho (TV) Excellent The story was original and the animation excellent, the Story pulled you in quickly and kept you there with each episode. And towards the end it can put a tear to anyones eye. Awesome anime for anyone.
Magikano (TV) Excellent Actually a very good show, the animation was very good and the english dub believe it or not very good and funny.
Mahoromatic - Automatic Maiden (TV) Masterpiece Perfect show wouldnt change a thing
Mahoromatic: Something More Beautiful (TV) Masterpiece Perfect, but too short T-T
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Masterpiece An excellent show with superb music, masterful english dub's, great animation, and an overly excellent and evolving story. This show is superb and can be watched by anyone.
Midori Days (TV) Excellent A deep and passionate love story that grew with each episode, and the animations of the characters were good but could be better, the comedy was good as well but not as in depth with the comedy as the romance it self. Overall excellent anime
MoonPhase (TV) Excellent A very deep and passionate story. The dubs are surprisingly good and the story evolves well, although there are points in the story that are left untold.
My-HiME (TV) Excellent The story was very different but actually very good, the dubbing was ok at best, but in certain situations it works well with the characters, the story evolves at every turn and its actually very rewarding.
Myself; Yourself (TV) Excellent A very interesting story of friendship and love, it gets kind of disturbing towards to end, but the story leading up till then is excellent and keep you pulled in. On top of that the music was spectacular.
Negima! (TV) Excellent An excellent anime with some surprisingly good music and stunningly good English Dubs, The Dubs matched the characters almost perfectly (Their Personalities at least) and the story was very good and even had some stunners towards the end
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) Masterpiece a masterpiece in every aspect, Great music, excellent animations, compelling story, mystery and plot twists make for a mysterious and i want to watch more feel.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) Masterpiece words cannot express how good this anime is
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ (TV) Excellent Excellent show, excellent music, and the ending just blew my mind.
(The) Place Promised in Our Early Days (movie) Masterpiece One of the best movies ive seen in a very long time. It has a deep and developing story that can keep any anime fan interested. And the english dub is good to boot, whats not to love?
Please Teacher! (TV) Masterpiece Awesome romance story with alot of hardships thrown in the mix, good comedy but it felt short and unfinished to me, some fans of the manga disagree
Please Twins! (TV) Good Good but no where near as good as Please Teacher!, Leaves terrible cliffhanger at the end.
Princess Lover! (TV) Good If you like huge enormous tits, you'll love this show and its quirkiness
R.O.D -The TV- Excellent Excellent show, great action and moves the story along well.
Rosario + Vampire (TV) Very good Very interesting story with some odd twists. Although the story had more plot holes then swiss cheese, the comedy made up for it in the long run.
Rumbling Hearts (TV) Masterpiece A truly heartwarming and romantic story, the dubs were excellent and the music was superb, a masterpiece for anyone to enjoy
S.A (TV) Good Good show, but it had alot of plot twists and it's enough to make anyone RAGE
Saki (TV) Excellent Got better and better with every episode. Loved the OP and the ED music, as well as the general story line.
School Days (TV) Excellent Had excellent acting with great visuals, and the music captured the story very well. But I have never ever seen a more disturbing anime then this. I took my mind and juggled it over and over, the ending is completely unexpected and and even more disturbing then the rest of the show. I recommend as a good anime, but if your unstable in the mind DO NOT WATCH!
School Rumble (TV) Excellent a very good comedy romance anime with alot of interesting plot turns, it sticks very close to the manga in alot of scenes. And the drawings were very good and stayed true to the manga. Very good anime
School Rumble: 2nd Semester (TV) Excellent An excellent sequel to School Rumble season 1, but it leaves no closure and with a sequel in the works I have time to wait
Scrapped Princess (TV) Excellent A very deep and original story with an interesting and dark background. The Dubs are excellent and the music is very inviting, the story develops its self as a mystery for a while then turns it self into a action packed fight for your life, then into a sad and funny story. Awesome anime all around
Shakugan no Shana (TV) Masterpiece A wonderful blend of comedy, romance, and action. The Dubs were excellent and had feeling where they needed to be, And the animations where near flawless.
Shakugan no Shana Second (TV) Excellent Awesome just like the first season. Sad to say we wont ever see this in the United States.
She, The Ultimate Weapon (TV) Masterpiece One of the most touching and heart wrenching stories ive ever seen, this is a show with excellence beyond words.
Shigofumi - Letters from the Departed (TV) Excellent A very original story with some interested twists and turns, little risque at some points in the show, but it gives it good feel and really bring it to life. The music is very good and fit well with the scenes in question, and the voice acting was superb in the sense it matched the emotions near perfectly. Good show for adults, but as a young adult id avoid it due to its overall setting of the story.
Shuffle! (TV) Excellent Great show. It kind of flew around all over the place with the story but towards the end it started to get fired up, and fired up it did.
Someday's Dreamers (TV) Excellent The story was very slow paced and heartwarming. Dubbing was also kind of weak and the music was very slow and pleasing in some scenes. Not a show in any form for action lovers.
Sora no Manimani (TV) Excellent An excellent, down to earth, and overall sweet show. I hated the ending personally but I enjoyed the rest of the show.
Speed Grapher (TV) Excellent A excellent show with a great story and surprisingly very good dubs. Although some of the animations seemed blocky and the music was subpar, the story more then made up for it.
Steel Angel Kurumi (TV) Very good Good animations and the dubs were ok, music was good and the story inviting, The episodes were short but it kept the story going along nicely. There isnt alot i would change, an overall a good anime if your into Comedy/Romance
Steel Angel Kurumi 2 (TV) Decent although it was called a Sequel to Steel Angel Kurumi, i would consider more of a spin off, i didnt see it continue the story in anyway. But it still stuck to the steel angel roots in someway and kept me interested.
Strawberry Eggs (TV) Excellent Great anime with alot of love and comedy thrown into the mix, But watching it as a man kind of made me feel inferior, but that just means the show did what it was meant to do, leave an impression. Great anime in almost all aspects.
Suzuka (TV) Not really good The Anime Adaptation of this manga is pethetic. The Story for the anime isnt as depth and has alot of plot holes. The Dubs are weak and the ending was terrible.
Sweet Blue Flowers (TV) Very good Got better in later episodes. In the end it was a great show. Even though it was awkward.
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki (OAV 3/2003) Very good A typical tenchi muyo anime, with a few different twists.
This Ugly Yet Beautiful World (TV) Very good A very deep and passionate story of love and triumph. It had an excellent story and the Dub was sub-par, but it kept me interested and the ending brought good closure.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (TV) Masterpiece One of the best shows of the season. The story is very heartwarming and sad and brought me to tears.
Toradora! (TV) Excellent A very excellent anime in my own view. I loved the voice acting, it put alot of feel into it, and the drawing were very good. Even though they did look rushed on some occasions and scenes. But most of all I loved the story. Two thumbs up.
True Tears (TV) Excellent Good artistic visuals, excellent music, and a great story to boot, a good romantic anime with plenty of twists and turns. And with some oddities in between. Excellent show for anyone.
UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie (TV) Excellent A excellent evolving story with romance, action, and comedy all in one. The animations of the characters were very good and the music was excellent, And the English dubs were very good and they showed the emotions of the characters well.
UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie 2: December Nocturne (TV) Excellent An good sequel to season 1 with everything good about the 1st season included.
UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie 3: Bride of Celestial Souls' Day (OAV) Excellent Short, sweet, and leaves it wide open for a sequel.
Welcome to the NHK (TV) Masterpiece One of the best shows ive seen in a long time. Its down to earth, not completely out of this world, and surprisingly enough the dub was very good and well done. I found myself comparing myself to the main character quite a bit, even though he was a nut job.
