| Naruto (TV) | Masterpiece | So far, I'm only on episode 100-something but I find myself sitting inches from the tv screen watching in anticipation for the outcome of each battle. The first episode was very well done. It captivated my attention, although I must admit that I dispised the artwork at first (but now that I've gotten used to it, the artwork is quite unique). The first episode was done in a way that it made a special place in my heart for some of the characters in a very short period of time. It made me want to continue to watch to see the development of the characters. However, after the first few episodes, I found that the plot became very very slow. I calculated that it took me four+ hours to finish one story arc. I didn't feel that was necessary. The good thing is that the story picked up when the chounin exam began and ever since, it has remained interesting and spontaneous. Pretty good series so far. I'll keep you posted after I watch more. |
