LEGENDARY JAPANESE ROCK BAND GLAY SHARES NEW SONG “KAISHIN NO ICHIGEKI” WHICH SERVES AS THE THEME FOR THE ANIME SERIES “GRENDIZER U”
TOKYO, JAPAN – July 31 2024 ーLegendary Japanese band GLAY released its new song "Kaishin no ichigeki," serving as the main theme to the ongoing TV anime "Grendizer U." The jacket artwork for the release has also been revealed.
The beloved series "UFO Robot Grendizer," originally created by the authoer Gō Nagai, has been revived in 2024 as a new TV anime series titled "Grendizer U." This new adaptation boasts a stellar team behind the scenes, including Mitsuo Fukuda ("Mobile Suit Gundam Seed") as chief director, Ichiro Okouchi ("Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion") as series composer, and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto ("Neon Genesis Evangelion") as character designer.
The jacket artwork, created by the “Grendizer U” animation team, beautifully captures the essence of the song.
