Theme Songs for the Anime 'Tasuketsu,' 'Emperor Time' by VIVARUSH and 'Game Over' by Issey, to be Released on Streaming Today

TOKYO, JAPAN – 3 July 2024 – The opening theme song "Emperor Time" by Japanese band VIVARUSH and the ending theme song "GAME OVER" by Japanese solo artist issey for the TV anime series "TASUKETSU" are now available for streaming worldwide.

The opening theme, "Emperor Time," was created by the dynamic Japanese visual kei rock band VIVARUSH. After making their major debut with Japanese label VAP last year, VIVARUSH hosted their first festival, "Ageage JAPAN '24," and headlined at a prestigious visual kei event in Osaka. Known for their high-energy performances VIVARUSH brings a powerful rock anthem themed around "belief" to "TASUKETSU," doubling as their second major single.

The ending theme, "GAME OVER," was created by 23-year-old singer-songwriter issey. A versatile artist who handles everything from lyric writing to composition to arrangement to mixing, issey has gained significant attention on YouTube in recent years. Despite being a relative newcomer, he has already composed theme songs for two films, with last year's "Nightmare Restaurant" exceeding 3 million views on YouTube. His popularity continues to grow, especially among teenagers. "GAME OVER" marks issey's first anime tie-up, and he delivers a captivating youth anthem boasting the theme "games."

“TASUKETSU” is based off of Taiga Miyagawa's famous webcoming of the same name, which began being published in 2013. The TV adaptation started airing on July 2, 2024.
