Kunio-kun Returns to The Battle Cats for a Limited-Time Collab Campaign
PONOS Corporation's flagship tower defense game app The Battle Cats welcomes the return of the tough street brawler with a heart of gold Kunio-kun from the classic River City video game series during collab event River City Cat Clash, starting December 4th, 2023 (11:00am), continuing until December 18th, 2023 (11:00am).
The limited-time “River City Clash” collab capsules only available during this campaign offer players two teams to choose from: Red Team and White Team, along with a special service: an 11-capsule draw made from Red Team during this event will reward players with exclusive hero “Kunio-kun” as a bonus 12th capsule and an 11-capsule draw made from White Team during this event will reward players with exclusive hero “High School Kingpin Riki” as a bonus 12th capsule!
Level up and evolve Kunio-kun to reveal new powers, then use him to activate the “Don't Mess With Me!” CatCombo to provide a boost to the Worker Cat's starting level!
Meanwhile, level up and evolve High School Kingpin Riki to reveal new powers, then use him to activate the “Bring it On!” CatCombo to slightly boost your Cats' Defense!
The collab also offers exciting new special maps with a Sports Day theme, including River City Ball Rolling, River City Three-Leg Race, River City Challenge Course, and starting on the 9th day of the collab, the new River City Relay stage, each with a different concept and offering a different set of rewards on stage clear! For players who have cleared these events in the first edition of the collab, stage clear states and drop rewards will be restored, meaning that veteran players can collect all the loot once again!
