Dear, the Title Track of JUNNA's 5th Anniversary Album, Announced as OP of The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2

The second trailer for the TV anime The Ancient Magus' Bride season 2, which will begin airing in Japan in April 2023, has been released, and it has been revealed that “Dear” by JUNNA has been chosen as the opening theme.

The Ancient Magus' Bride is a popular manga series by Kore Yamazaki, with over 10 million copies in circulation worldwide. It received an anime adaptation in 2017, followed by two stage adaptations and an OAD. Following demand from fans, a second season of the anime has been confirmed and will air in Japan starting in April 2023.

JUNNA, who will perform the opening theme song, is a talented artist who also sang “Here” for the first season of The Ancient Magus' Bride. Upon its release, “Here” reached the number one spot on 10 major distribution sites and was certified as a gold record by the Japan Record Association.
Like “Here,” “Dear” was written by Yuho Iwasato and composed and arranged by Yusuke Shirato, with JUNNA as the vocalist.

In addition, the jacket visuals and track list for JUNNA's 5th anniversary 3rd full album Dear have been released. The Limited First Edition comes with a special sleeve case featuring an original illustration of JUNNA by Kore Yamazaki. The CD will include 12 songs by various artists, such as Yuki Kajiura, Shiro Sagisu, n-buna, s-num (suisougurashi), and JUON, and the Limited First Edition includes two bonus tracks, totaling 14 songs. The Limited First Edition Blu-ray will feature the previously announced JUNNA ROCK YOU TOUR 2021 ～20-sai no Natsu～, as well as music videos for “Dear” and “Kaze no Oto sae Kikoenai.” It will also include an original short animation titled “Fuyu no Okurimono.” This animation was produced by WIT STUDIO and FlyingDog and features a theme song by JUNNA. It tells the story of a young girl's growth through an encounter with a mysterious creature. The animation will be directed by Kazuaki Terasawa, with Kōichi Naruse, the head of Studio Kafka, serving as WIT STUDIO's animation producer.
