Announcing the Release of 'Progressive Conversation App, Isekai'

Megumin (VA. Rie Takahashi) from “KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!” is the first character to be featured

BOOK WALKER Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ichirō Hashiba; hereinafter referred to as BOOK WALKER) announced the English-language release for its ISEKAI app on Oct 23, 2019. Not only will the app be distributed in North America, it will also be made available in Europe, Australia, and other Asian countries in the future. (Distribution times may differ by location.)

What is ISEKAI?
ISEKAI is an app that allows users to meet characters from anime and manga in their own world through the app by utilizing rights with copyright holders and the latest speech synthesis technology*, etc. to realize fans' dreams of being able to spend time with their favorite characters.
The first character in the app's lineup is Megumin, a highly popular character from the series “KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!”. The voice of Rie Takahashi (signed with 81Produce) has been faithfully reproduced to recreate flowing conversations from the anime's worldview. BOOK WALKER hopes to expand the app with BtoB projects.

ISEKAI adds English compatibility to the following functions so that the app can be enjoyed by those overseas.

Characters' voice recognition and subtitles are available in English with the purchase of the English Pack.

What is “KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!”?
An isekai comedy series based on light novels by Natsume Akatsuki (published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko) of the same name that has reached over 9 million copies sold. It is a highly popular series that has gained support from a wide range of fans, both in Japan and overseas, and it gained even more popularity after its anime adaptation (with two seasons) was broadcast. On August 30, 2019, “KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!-Legend of Crimson” was released in theaters.
