Voice Actor Stephanie Panisello to Be Otakon Guest
Washington, D.C. (May 21, 2019) – Stephanie Panisello, a voice actor best known for her work in the video game "Resident Evil 2," will be one of the guests at Otakon 2019, according to Otakorp Inc.
Panisello originally came to Los Angeles on vacation, but never left. Her thirst for adventure, passion for acting and love of video games have led her to appear in over a dozen titles including the videogames "Doom," "Evil Within 2," the "Final Fantasy" franchise, "Blade 2: The Return of Evil"; the Batman theme park ride "Knight Flight" as Poison Ivy; and the cinematic trailer for "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" as Lara Croft.
Nonetheless, the character she is best known for is the beloved and iconic protagonist Claire Redfield in the "Resident Evil 2" remake. Stephanie's performance as Claire has been applauded in multiple gaming news outlets, garnering headlines such as, "'Resident Evil 2' Remake Breathes New Life into Claire," according to "Game Informer."
Born in New York and raised in Florida, Panisello is fluent in both English and Spanish. She also has numerous credits in film, animation and digital media. Panisello has put in countless hours of training in acting, voice-over, hosting, basic stunts, live fire and tactical weapons. She is also a featured actress in the book “Women in Gaming: 100 Professionals of Play.”
In addition, Panisello has lent her talents hosting for the Hotwheels Channel and Channel Frederator Network's "The Leaderboard," to name a few.
Otakon 2019 will be held July 26-28, 2019 at the Walter Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
