SEGA Pocket Club Manager Powered by Football Manager Introduces an All-new Game Mode, the 'J. League Mode'
TOKYO, 13 DECEMBER 2018—SEGA today introduced the 'J. League mode' in SEGA Pocket Club Manager powered by Football Manager, a brand-new game mode where players aim for the top in the professional football leagues of Japan. By implementing J. League mode, SEGA is offering a different challenge to not only new players, but also players who are familiar with the title. This new game mode comes just two months after the global launch of SEGA Pocket Club Manager, a football management role-playing game powered by Football Manager and the latest title in SEGA's hugely popular and long-running SakaTsuku series.

In J. League mode, players will start by competing in J3, the third division of J. League, and must rise up the ranks to J2, and finally J1 where they'll stand a chance of achieving their ultimate goal of being the champion of J. League. Apart from the usual challenges of football management, players who embark on this J. League journey will be meeting new talents, overcoming financial difficulties, navigating conflicts between team members, and more.
To ensure that J. League mode remains fun and challenging to players of all levels, it has been designed to be different from the main campaign of the game. Players can either scout from players lists (no reinforcement by Premium Scout) or loan existing team members from the main campaign. However, the latter comes at a price. The higher the level and the more evolved a team member is, the steeper the loan fee.
