Japan-based Animation Studio Teases a Big 2018 Year For Anime
D'Art Shtajio, formed by Arthell Isom, Darnell Isom, and Henry Thurlow have begun to ramp up their efforts moving into 2018 utilizing new methods, more executives and a long list of anime productions in the pipeline.
Recently released, original in-house short: 少女のピエロ ㊤ (Shojo no Piero) AKA “The Doll” (Part 1) has received several thousand views on Facebook and high acclaim amongst the animation community for its subtle approach to a commonly relatable feeling of an artist's struggle involving, growth, change and the re-igniting of a burnt out passion.
The Doll stars Dante Carver (SoftBank, Resident Evil: Vendetta) as Ijiro and was created using Toon Boom's Harmony and Story Board Pro software. D'Art Shtajio has begun its transition from the commonly used traditional paper style animation, into the world of digital animation. D'Art Shtajio's CEO, Arthell Isom wants to explore new methods of improving the process for creating animation in order to make it more accessible while upholding the Japanese style quality found in anime.

D'Art Shtajio will be utilizing Toon Boom's Software for several large upcoming projects that will be announced later this month.
In preparation for the growth and release of several new projects, D'Art Shtajio has named David Pinter (Indigo Ignited co-creator) as their CMO and Head of Business Development within the company. Pinter has a long list of credentials and a track record for success, as a former business owner himself; Pinter will oversee the growth of the business, media presence, structure, content development, and ultimately the acquisition of new projects for the company.
D'Art Shtajio is a growing company, actively seeking to act as a bridge for Westerners to approach an Eastern medium that was, until now, unattainable. D'Art Shtajio houses several talented artists and animators in the industry with credits spanning across many popular anime shows. With the New Year rolling in quickly and the promise of large project announcements from D'ART, 2018 is shaping up to be a big year for the company.
