"Sharin no Kuni: The Girl Among the Sunflowers" Localization Project Relaunching Soon
Frontwing Inc., in partnership with AKABEiSOFT2 and Tokyo Otaku Mode, are relaunching
their crowdfunding project to localize “Sharin no Kuni: The Girl Among the Sunflowers” on
Kickstarter, with the new title “Re: Sharin no Kuni Project”. The campaign will officially begin
on November 21 at 6PM PT with a goal of $80,000, and features a multitude of updates and
revisions, based on both feedback from fans as well as internal evaluation of the original
campaign. The campaign can be accessed at the following URL:

“Sharin no Kuni” is a highly regarded title not only within Japan, but by visual novel fans from around the world. Frontwing will oversee the translation, planning, and direction of the localization product, with assistance from AKABEiSOFT2. The Kickstarter campaign along with other PR as well as post-campaign reward fulfilment will be handled by Tokyo Otaku Mode. We are proud to be able to offer not only the game itself, but a wide variety of exclusive rewards directly to visual novel fans all across the globe.
We have a number of promotions scheduled to help boost the campaign's exposure, including a giveaway contest on Twitter, regular Kickstarter updates and at least one Kickstarter Live broadcast, and an AMA on Reddit's /r/visualnovels subreddit. The AMA is scheduled for 6PM PT on November 23rd.
For the relaunched “Re: Sharin no Kuni Project”, we've added a number of new rewards based on feedback we received from fans during the first campaign, including a newly designed dakimakura set (case and pillow) and a full graphic t-shirt. Additionaly, we have exclusive limited rewards: a 10-piece only autographed canvas print of a brand-new illustration by the original artist Alpha, and the opportunity to receive a personalized full-color shikishi of the character of your choice, also by Alpha. Additionally, returning from the original campaign is the “Journey to the Holy Land” reward, which offers a personal guided tour of Akihabara as well a dinner with the presidents of both Frontwing and AKABEiSOFT2. We also have Early Bird versions of various tiers, offering the lucky first 100 backers an opportunity to get the game and rewards at a premium price. We're hoping that the impressive variety and value offered by the campaign's rewards will help to attract a wide range of backers!
