Ani-Jam 2013 is Pleased to Announce Robert Axelrod as a Guest of Honor
Fresno, CA - July 5, 2013 - Ani-Jam, the Central Valley's premiere anime convention is proud to announce
voice actor Robert Axelrod as a Guest of Honor at Ani-Jam 2013 this summer.
The two-day event will be held on August 17-18 at the Valdez Hall (at the Fresno Convention Center). Axelrod has appeared in over thirty feature films including four with Charles Bronson, the Sci-Fi hit remake “The Blob” with Kevin Dillon and many others. Television appearances include guest star roles on “Amazing Stories”, “Star Trek Voyager”, “Tim And Eric's Awesome Show” and “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Robert Axelrod is best known for his voice of Lord Zedd and Finster on the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”. Robert also did voice for Armadillomon and Wizardmon on “Digimon, Microchip, The Punisher's sidekick, on “Spiderman”, Rico on “Robotech” and has voiced countless Anime features including “Akira”, “The Big O”, “Cowboy Bebop”, “Brain Scratch”, et al. He just finished narrating the mockumentary “Safety First: The Rise of Women and four Anime series: “Gaiking”, “Danguard Ace”, “Captain Harlock”, “The Adventures of Nadja” and “Fist of the North Star”.
Robert Axelrod joins previously announced Guest of Honors: Anime voice talents Brittney Karbowski, Greg Ayres, Cynthia Martinez, Chris Patton, veteran animator/author, Aimee Major Steinberger (“The Simpsons” and “Futurama”), Music producer Richie Branson, DJ Lord Katsuhiko Jinnai and singers Mari Watanabe and Kairu.

Ani-Jam is a two-day convention held annually that celebrates Japanese animation and East Asian pop culture. The two-day convention brings in over a thousand people from the valley and throughout the state to participate in cosplay and costuming events, panels featuring our special guests of honor, concerts, screenings, game tournaments and more.
