Orlando Gets Music Festival Ongaku Overdrive April 27th
ORLANDO, FL, April 1st 2013 – The first ever Ongaku Overdrive, a music festival with live acts performing music inspired by anime, videogames, sci-fi, and comics, will be held on Saturday, April 27th 2013. This event will be at Taste, located at 717 W. Smith St. Orlando, FL, near downtown.
Ongaku Overdrive is happy to have Japanese pop artist Rai Kamishiro for her debut Florida performance. Rai has recently released her latest album, Cor Leonis, to the public for digital and CD purchase.
Also on the lineup for the festival will be top nerdcore hip hop acts such as Richie Branson and Adam WarRock, as well as Orlando geek-rockers Sci-Fried, and Orlando nerdcore hip hop groups MagiTek and Emergency Pizza Party. The night will end with an electronic dance party with DJ Benjamin Briggs of GameChops and OverClocked Remix.
