Yen Press Announces Graphic Novel Adaptation of Anne Rice's The Wolf Gift
NEW YORK, NY (10/13/2012) — Yen Press, the graphic novel imprint of Hachette Book Group, announced that it has acquired world rights to publish an adaptation of The Wolf Gift by internationally renowned author Anne Rice.
The Wolf Gift departs from Ms. Rice's classic Interview with the Vampire to explore a modern, high-tech world that nonetheless hides a supernatural side, in a unique re-imagining of werewolf mythology. Yen Press will be publishing another graphic novel adaptation of one of Ms. Rice's novels, Interview with the Vampire: Claudia's Story, in November 2012. Claudia's Story retells the novel from the perspective of child vampire Claudia, and is illustrated by Ashley Marie Witter.
