Crunchyroll Takes Simulcasts into High Definition on the PS3™
The leader in streaming Anime and Asian content enhances its streaming service with HD 720p on the PS3™

(October 12, 2012) – Crunchyroll, Inc., the leading Anime and Asian drama streaming service, launches high-definition 720p streams for its entire library and simulcast lineup on the PlayStation®3. Previously shows were available in enhanced-definition 480p. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com.
Crunchyroll will continue to offer a special 30-day free trial for users who sign up through the Crunchyroll App on the PS3™. The Crunchyroll App can be download from the PS3™ XMB under TV/Video Services, or from the PlayStation®Network. The Crunchyroll App for the PS3™ is available in English for U.S. and Canadian audiences. Anime fans can enjoy the latest Anime shows with subtitles within minutes of Japan TV broadcast, including hits like Naruto Shippūden, Sword Art Online, Space Brothers, and Hunter x Hunter.
