Anime USA Announces Video Game Orchestra

New England based orchestra to serenade Anime USA 2012

Video Game Orchestra, created and produced by Shota Nakama, is an orchestra that performs contemporary arrangements of video game music with an orchestra, choir, and rock band. As the first and only New England based orchestra that focuses on showcasing interactive media compositions, VGO is dedicated to provide access and raise awareness of orchestral video game-related compositions.

VGO's debut concert was on July 2008 in front of about 200 people at a small Boston chapel. Since then, the success and audience number have been growing along the way. VGO has been featured at a numerous events such as Anime Boston with Nobuo Uematsu, PAX East, PAX Prime, and Anime Central with Masashi Hamauzu, and the group also has performed with Distant Worlds ~Music from Final Fantasy~ at the prestigious Boston Symphony Hall.

At Anime USA, VGO chamber group will be featured to bring you their rockestral redemption of video game music.
