Hatsune Miku Mega 3D Live Concert Takes Place in L.A.
MIKU ー Festival 2011 and Anime Expo 2011(U.S.A.) will bring the digital diva HATSUNE MIKU's First Ever 3D Live Concert Outside of Japan to the Nokia Theatre on July 2 for Anime Expo 2011 (July 1-4, at the Los Angeles Convention Center), with the official support and cooperation of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. (http://www.toyota.com/corollamiku/) and ANIME EXPO 2011 (http://www.anime-expo.org/).
This concert theme will be based on the ultra popular 39's (Thank's') Giving Day held in Tokyo on March 9, 2010. SEGA Corporation will produce the high tech projected image and CRYPTON FUTURE MEDIA, Inc. will coordinate and supervise the production.

39's (Thank's) Giving day is the first solo concert from digital diva HATSUNE MIKU originally
held on March 9, 2010 at Zeep in Tokyo. The concert date was decided by her name “MIKU”.
The number “3” in Japanese could be read as “MI” and number “9” as “KU”…”3/9 = MIKU!”
It was held once in the daytime and again at night with over 5000 fans attending, and an
internet viewing audience of thousands. The concert is based on the hit game “HATSUNE
MIKU Project Diva Arcade” with 3D models and motion data by SEGA. It was the
introduction of a brand new type of entertainment from Japan that excited audiences all over
the world.
About Anime Expo
Anime Expo has been North America's largest anime and manga celebration since its
inception in 1992.
Anime Expo gives fans the rare opportunity to meet and hear from some
of the most famous guest anime, manga and musical artists from Japan in live shows and
sessions. AX 2011 will be held July 1 – July 4, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Nokia Theatre (NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE ) in Los Angeles is a large venue in the "L.A. Live"
