(http://extr.b-ch.com/guc/) . “Gundam UC” is currently planned to be released March 12, 2010 on Blu-ray disc worldwide simultaneously in the 7 territorial areas of Japan, US, Canada, UK, France, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. “Gundam UC” is the latest work of the popular “Gundam” series, and uses the “Universal Century” concept from the first “Mobile Suit Gundam” series as a foundation from which to build a 6 episode Original Video Animation (OVA) storyline arc. In Japan, “Gundam UC” became available in the PlayStation® Store on February 20, 2010. From the highly wonderful, positive comments from fans who have already watched the show at the PlayStation® Store, “Gundam UC” is now greatly expected to become a smash hit, not only in Japan, but around the world as well. “Gundam”celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2009, and in commemoration an 18 meter tall Gundam statue (approx. 59 feet) was erected.
