UpcomingCons.com Announces Free Badge Contest and 2010 Schedule

Iowa City, IA - 01/10/2010 - UpcomingCons.com is excited to announce a contest, and a packed convention coverage schedule, for 2010.

UpcomingCons.com will be giving away two free admissions to each of four anime conventions that have contributed to the contest, which includes A&G Ohio (Cincinnati, Ohio), QC Anime-zing (Bettendorf, Iowa), Natsucon (St. Louis, Missouri), and Kuzuricon (Battle Creek, MI). Fans can win simply by submitting an entry form on the UpcomingCons website between now and February 10th. The entry form can be found at http://www.upcomingcons.com/contest.

"This is a great chance to attend a convention you've never been to before," said Ryan Kopf, administrator of UpcomingCons.com. "These are great conventions; their support of the fans is tremendous."

UpcomingCons has also announced the first half of its 2010 convention coverage schedule, including nine conventions through June. Conventions include Ohayocon, Naka-Kon, Kawa Kon, A&G Ohio, Anime St. Louis, No Brand Con, Anime Central, Gale-Kon, and QC Anime-zing! The scheduled conventions are not connected to the aforementioned contest.

UpcomingCons attends conventions and provides pictures, videos, and reviews via its website, which lists eight conventions covered in 2009. UpcomingCons started earlier in 2009 as a fan project, including a focus on anime, scif-fi, gaming, and comic conventions.

Winners of the contest will be notified via email before February 15th, selected at random from all entries. They will be announced publically with the winner's permission.
