Action-Packed Title Comes to the Number One Online Destination for Anime and Asian Entertainment

San Francisco, CA (July 9, 2009) — Crunchyroll and avex entertainment, Inc., a leading Japanese music and entertainment company, have announced today a partnership to bring CHARGER GIRL, JU-DEN CHAN, the anime series based on the hit manga by Bow Ditama, to fans around the world through Crunchyroll. CHARGER GIRL, JU-DEN CHAN, known as Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! in Japanese, follows Juden-chan on her adventures to make the world a better place. In preparing the title for a broader audience, avex entertainment, Inc. and Crunchyroll have worked closely together to make slight alterations to the original Japanese version of the show, which will later be used for its Japanese rebroadcast on UHF stations.

CHARGER GIRL, JU-DEN CHAN will be available on Crunchyroll to viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Crunchyroll's Anime Members will be able to see weekly episodes the show in 480P quality one week before the general public on Crunchyroll, featuring English subtitles.
