Robert Axelrod, Anime Voice Actor (Robotech, Cowboy Bebop) Appears at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention on August 17, 2008

LOS ANGELES, CA - AUGUST 5, 2008 - ROBERT AXELROD, the voice of many anime characters in Movies and TV including the original ROBOTECH TV Series (as RICO), DIGIMON, and COWBOY BEBOP, makes his first West Coast personal appearance at the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION on AUGUST 17, 2008. ROBERT is also known as the voice of LORD ZEDD on the MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS TV Series and Movies. ROBERT will be signing autographs all day, and while there is a charge for an autograph it includes a choice of photo.

Other Featured Guests are LORENZO SEMPLE JR., who helped develop the BATMAN TV series, writing several episodes (including the first, Hi Diddle Riddle) and he was also Executive Story Editor for the entire run of the series, as well as writing the 1966 BATMAN Movie. LORENZO also wrote the cult Movies KING KONG (1976) and FLASH GORDON (1980). MIKE MAYHEW, an artist with a photo realism style of painting, will be signing the new release from Marvel Comics, X-MEN ORIGIN: JEAN GREY, as well as doing sketches and selling original art at reasonable rates.

The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION takes place at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center, located at 700 West 32nd Street, right across the street from USC College. Admission is only $8.00, five years and under are free. A large Dealer's Room full of Comic Books, Anime Merchandise, Toys, and other Collectables is also featured.
