Power Rangers Voice Actor to Appear In Huntington, WV
Tsubasacon Announces Robert Axelrod as Guest
HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA – June 15, 2008 – With its 2008 convention in just months away, Tsubasacon announces that voice actor and writer Robert Axelrod well appear as a guest during its convention in September 26–28, 2008 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia.
Robert Axelrod is best known as the voice of Lord Zedd and Finster from the popular television series, Might Morphing Power Rangers. Axelrod also provided the voices for Wizardmon and Armidillomon in the first two Digimon series, Microchip in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Rico in Robotech, and Movor in Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Axelrod is also credited for writing three episodes of Samurai Pizza Cats and several other voice roles in The Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Rurouni Kenshin.
ABOUT TSUBASACON, INC.: First established in 2004, Tsubasacon (http://www.tsubasacon.org) is West Virginia's first and only convention focusing on Japanese animation and comics, respectively know as "anime" and "manga". In early 2006, control of the convention was transferred from Charleston Anime and Manga Society, Inc. to Tsubasacon, Inc. Tsubasacon's goals are to promote anime and manga in West Virginia and to establish a social framework though which anime and manga fans can interact with each other.
